Maltkiln Cottage was originally a traditional brick built piggery dating back to the 19th century. It has been tastefully restored into a delightful holiday cottage which still retains much of its character and features from its former days with its exposed beams and brickwork.
The front entrance to the cottage opens directly into the open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The fitted country style kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for your stay, and the dining table for two is prefect for enjoying your meals. The sitting area has views over the private patio and BBQ area with fire, Smart TV, with Freeview, and a DVD player which can all be enjoyed from the comfy double sofa and chair. The glass patio doors offer access to the outside paved and gravel area, with outside table and chairs, which gives fabulous views over the fields and neighboring horse paddocks.
The double bedroom, again with views over the patio area, is accessed from the living room and consists of a double bed and traditional inviting country style furniture and furnishings. The modern bathroom with its bath, wc and shower is then accessed at the far end of the cottage through the bedroom.
